i started to realize the relevance of Mosely’s method. Experiments from Quantum Mechanics to DNA structures can be correlated with this work. What things could have been studied if one man had lived?

Hey, does anyone know when double-displacement reactions of no reaction?
[Reply]
they maybe knocked out but it isnt relevant to the lecture its just extrenous, also the incident electrons have enough energy to easily pass without being deflected and knocking out an inner electron.

I think it sublime his repartee on the “melodrama
Maria Callis and very much refreshing.
Her’s was a Great Soprano as is performance to which he refer’s.

im in 9th n i actually understand half of this.. more then my actual biology teacher XD

Yes, the metal atoms are ionized, which causes the cascade of electron and thus ejection of photons. The free electron travels within the metal and will (once they have scattered and lost enough energy) be “reabsorbed” by the ionized atoms.

good expalination of x rays but stil question in my mind tht wen electrons from cathode hit target metals why not out electrons are knocked out? tht may ionize the metal? if plz some one can help me in it . i have down loaded whole lecture wil see in details later but this question i asked earlier have stoped my further intrest.

Thanks MIT.

what is this were i am MY
[Reply]
Do you expect teachers to talk about things they DONT know? Fucking moron.
[Reply]
The positrons will annihilate when it comes into contact with an electron (this will also annihilate the electron). This will result in the release of two gamma rays.
[Reply]
Well what the hell do you expect? Of course its someone talking about things they already know. That’s what teachers do. A great institution of learning is not made up of fancy new learning techniques, but is made of people who are the most knowledgeable or innovative in their field. It’s simple really. I think you have missed the point some where along the line.

That guy was a great teacher. Very Understandable and interesting. I wish that my university was like that.
[Reply]
Holy crap, i thought the mit would use state of the art learning techniques.
Its just some guy wearing a suite, talking bout things he already knows.
Learning process includes senses – the more the better – it doesnt help anything at all that he started with opera

what happens when you shoot positrons at the elements?
[Reply]
meanwhile, ASIAN INVASION like whoa.

If you like Solid State Chemistry so much why dont you marry it.
