Why did matter dominate over anti-matter at the start of the universe?

@hross233 the corpse will start walking and become what you would called a “zombie” lol

Anatoli Bugorski may have put his face in a proton beam in 1978, see Wikipedia.

    First, great series of videos!!

I was wondering that you could make a video about solar magnetic pole changes, solar flares and all that stuff about 2012 burst that was underestimated. Just to mention, I’m not superticious, I’m just curious about it and, since I’ve seen Michio Kaku talking about that I wondered what are the real consequences about that.

    Thanks!!

It would be 520 years between betelgeuse popping its clogs and us knowing about it. I love that it may have already happened and were just sitting waiting for the energy to reach us :D

did you just write that the soul may exist as an intelligent form of energy … ???

    Hey SuperCorey95,
The video didn’t get it right, anyway.
I did a partial simulation using Geant4 software (for 7TeV, with a partial physics list).
Your hand gets a piercing by the 7TeV proton beam, but your whole-body radiation dose depends on the material downstream: if you’re in front of a graphite beam dump (or concrete or etc.), your dose is enormously higher than if you’re standing at the front of an air-filled space. They should’ve said, “what do you imagine you’re standing in front of?”

    Hey hross233,
Energetic proton beams are used every day (yes NOW, not in the future) for real-life cancer treatments.
No corpses. No. But you can look up “hadron therapy” or “proton therapy” to read more.
Simulation software such as Geant4 can calculate the interaction of particles with human tissues. A ‘hadrontherapy’ example is even included in the Geant4 install files. The fact that this video never addressed this just shows you that bad scientists flap their mouths without having a clue

@GarySpatzScam excellent question mr gary. according to the latest studies at the SCE, a soul may indeed exist as an intelligent form of energy. i hate to burst mr dylaia’s bubble, but saying you can’t disprove a soul is just as good as saying you can’t prove there is one. indeed, it must be a pitiful existence to think that one’s self lives for no purpose.

@GarySpatzScam I think you’re forgetting that there’s no such thing as a “soul” and there’s no energy released, although its an amusing thought. I don’t mean to be disrespectful of your beliefs but there’s no magic spark that disappears when we die, its just biochemical functions.

  19. hross233 says:

well, how about this: if you take a corpse, and put it in the collider, turn it on, and now what do you have. Could the collider be used in future medicine, ie; cancer

I’ve a question that I think most people would be curious about… Not having to do with the beams of course, but the detectors themselves. If you were to create a detector, create a compartment in the center for a person to lay down in and let’s say.. it’s a person who is about to die.. Would the detectors be able to find the energy released from the body as they pass away? (perhaps the energy that exists in the brain, or even detect a soul?)

    @ArcaneInquisitor
Impossible. You can think of the Sun as like a constant nuclear explosion, and that is thousands and thousands of times more massive than the Earth. We already know that the Sun isn’t a massive enough object to form a black hole after it goes red giant, so there’s no possible way an earth-sized nuclear explosion would .

Grr I hate people that do this! “What happens if I put my hand in the LHC?”

“You can’t they’d yank you out before you could!!!”

It’s a WHAT IF. Not ‘would I be able to’
